Concord Liberty participates annually in Operation Christmas Child!  We want boys and girls around the world to know that God loves them and has not forgotten them during this time of fear and uncertainty. Children need joy now more than ever.  Most of all – they need the hope found only in Jesus Christ. The best part is that every child who receives a shoe box hears the Gospel and will be invited to participate in a discipleship program!

Here are a few photos from a recent Operation Christmas Child "Packing Party" at Concord Liberty which was very fulfilling in many ways -- the fun, fellowship and joy of giving were evident on the faces of our volunteers:

The Story of Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child, is a project of Samaritan's Purse.  Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with local churches worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

Every year since its founding, Samaritan’s Purse has collected shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for children around the world. Since 1993, more than 198 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.
