"Operation Christmas Child"

Yes – its Shoe box time again – and we are super excited!!!

On Saturday, November 13th, the CLPC worship center will be filled with items to fill about 300 shoe boxes – and we need your help to fill them.

We will be packing the boxes with toys, school supplies and hygiene items -- which will be sent to boys and girls around the world!

The best part is that every child who receives a shoe box will hear the Gospel and be invited to participate in a discipleship program!

All items are purchased with donations – which are most welcome.  If you would like to donate – please make checks payable to CLPC and write “OCC Shoebox” in the memo section.

We will begin packing the boxes at 10am.  How long it will take to pack the boxes will depend on the number of people who come out to help. Its best to be at the church by 10am!  You don't want to miss out on the fun!

Everyone is welcome!!!

We want boys and girls around the world to know that God loves them and has not forgotten them during this time of fear and uncertainly. Children need joy now more than ever.  Most of all – they need the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

If you want to pack a box at home.

Empty shoeboxes will be available in the church narthex on Sunday, October 24th.  Inside each box you will find a pamphlet with suggested shoebox items and a label.  Please identify the gender and age range of the child you build your box for.

Any questions please contact Laurie Cannon or Judy McCleary.
