WHAT DO WE DO AT KOTM?

For our Preschool-K and Elementary Grades program, we use Lifeway Christian Resources’ Bible Studies for Life materials as the foundation of our Sunday School program. In three years, we will explore the entire Bible and learn how to apply Biblical truths to our lives at home, in school and in our communities.

Through developing Bible skills, Bible verse memorization, identifying a Bible point, reading a Bible passage and life application activities, children learn about God’s plan and purpose for their lives. Learning is encouraged through video, activity, play, games, and crafts.

Who leads KOTM?

We have a team of dedicated teachers and helpers who love children and the Lord. All teachers and helpers have PA clearances for volunteers working with children.

Do we have to come each week?

While regular attendance is encouraged, many lessons are one-week stand-alone lessons. Your child will learn something new each week. The individual lessons are taught in units with a unifying theme. We want to develop a relationship with your child and give them the opportunity to make new faith friends.

How will I know what my child is being taught?

Each child is given a Take Home paper with the week’s Bible story, Bible verse, and suggested activities for the week.

Must I attend church?

No. You are welcome to drop your child off at the classroom. However, you are welcome at any time.
