Community Service Days and Church has Left the Building:

We sponsor Community Service days with the whole church  going out into the community as a congregation showing Christ’s love to those we encounter throughout the day.  Some of the projects that we participate in are:

Safeway Food Markets –  Collection of canned foods from shoppers for donation to City Team ministry.

Aid for Friends – We prepare, wrap and label meals for this home meal delivery program. Four meals prepared, arranged into plastic containers, and labeled with their contents in order to be distributed to neighbors in and around our community.

Cookies Trays – We bake several kinds of favorite cookies (no nuts or peanut butter), bring them to the church and assemble cookies for distribution to our local school teachers, first responders and the state police in appreciation for all they do for our community

Good Works – Volunteers should be high school or older; each youth volunteering is matched 1 – 1 with an adult (age 25+). Work is done in Coatesville and surrounding community. Experience in home repair useful but not necessary. Wear old work clothes, hard soled shoes and bring work gloves and safety glasses (if you have them).  Participants are asked to bring their lunch.

Little Dresses – Sewing dresses from pillow cases to be for used for mission outreach. Supplies  provided. However, it would be helpful if you have a portable sewing machine that you could bring to the church to use that day.
