Dee Wilkinson journeys with Chop Point students and staff from Chop Point School, Maine, to Campo Alegro, Nicaragua each year in early spring. In addition to Bible stories, crafts, sports, and play, the staff introduces academic studies that include such things as science and English, provides clothing and shoes, and witnesses the love of Christ,as they touch the lives of these children who live in the poorest area of the country.
Marcia Bickley has been serving on site for International Teams in Strausberg, France at the Kairos Center for approximately five years. The Center creates a haven for the immigrant community and works through the team’s skills of socialization to show the love of Christ and find opportunity to share the Gospel. Marcia has come alongside many families as they struggle to build a new life away from tyranny.
