TESTIMONIALS :   Global Fest focus -COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY - Saturday, May 9th

Bethel Township Parks - Thank you for helping with the safety and beauty of our parks.  Your hard work is very much appreciated

CLPC continually searches
for ways to open our hearts and hands to help others in our community and world.
To name a few:

We have sponsored short term mission trips to:

• Brazil: Church Planting through evangelism and discipleship working through E3 Partners

• New Orleans: Restoring and rebuilding after Katrina concentrating several trips on a specific homeowner’s house helping him to completely rebuild his house.

• Steubenville, Ohio – Helping people who needed repairing and repainting of their homes.

• Chop Point Summer Camp, Maine: Helping prepare facilities for the coming camp season.

• Chester and the surrounding areas: We have a ministry that involves a trailer stocked with tools, driven to local houses where volunteers help homeowners repair their houses. The trailer and volunteers go wherever the need exists.

City Team Ministries: Once a month a team from CLPC can be found serving meals at City Team in Chester and extending our hand and hearts of friendship to those who are there. Anyone can be part of this team.

Holiday food baskets are created and donated to those in need so that people can be assured of having a special Easter and Thanksgiving dinner.

This year the ROC youth groups sponsored a coat drive and collected over 100 coats to be given to Covenant House which helps homeless teenagers. The youth groups also engage in regular service projects including the “30 Hour Famine”.

Samaritan shoe boxes are put together by our KOTM classes and others within the church and then dropped off at a local point to be mailed overseas to children who most likely will not be getting anything for Christmas.

Our Knitting and Crocheting Group knit skull caps that the soldiers can wear under their helmets, afghans and shawls for Fair Acres residents, skull caps for new born infants and blankets for children at AI DuPont. Anyone can join. Extra knitting needles and yarn is always available as is personalized instruction.

American Red Cross Blood drives regularly occur at the church.

CLPC also sponsors a variety of missionaries in this area, in the US and around the world. For a complete list of missionaries supported, check our Mission board in the Narthex of the church.
